Messiah (Luke 1:32–33). It was announced, “The Messiah is here and ready to establish His eternal kingdom if you are ready to receive it.”4 The Jewish people as a whole, however, rejected Christ as their King, but at the end of the coming tribulation period, Christ will again present Himself to Israel as both the Messiah and King. Although Christ has been rejected by both Jews and Gentiles throughout the world, He has not rejected humankind. That is why the Bible also refers to “the gospel of the
